A reminder of the rules for this thread....

Since the Post your random thread is sometimes hijacked by people posting recent shots (and not reading the rules, no harm done ), I thought we could have a "Post your recent shots" thread (MiPr thought it was worth a try ).

The idea of this thread is:
- to post recent pictures, less than a week old
- to post only one picture a day (no more).

Was testing my new lens today, the Minolta 28mm f/2.8 and... Very happy I am!!!

Did you save money by not buying the optional bubble level thingy?

It's a lens that many under-estimate for some reason. Have to admit I sold mine, but I have good cover in that area, so it made my bag lighter and bank balance healthier (for a short while).

Love to have some fun with cheap lens!! They all have there own character. The next one should be the Minolta 35/105. Lot of good deal on adorama actualy.

@Miwok: The guitarists on the beach is a fascinating shot. Almost "other worldly". I would make a great album cover. One problem though, and I'll be much more blunt than was brettania: As it is, the very tilted horizon detracts greatly from the image itself. It would be much more effective if you reprocessed it with a level horizon. Any chance?

Perhaps cropped a bit close (left ear, front paws), but all other aspects are good.

Just returned form a short (business) trip to the US. Started in San Francisco. Jet-lag got me up so early, I could take this shot.

Thank You Walt. Had some problems yesterday with cropping because they was BIG flares on the foreground. Finally fix it by reworking on this copy.

Edit: Not sure is really better, look like a bad cropping.. Should rework on the original, maybe...
