Thanks MichelvA.   Lately, I've taken to uploading "HD" size jpgs to flickr then using Argote's flickr poster to get 1024px sized links. So, Flickr is downsizing again. I hadn't put much thought into that.

Normally, I use LR4 to sharpen in the image at full size then use "Standard Screen" output sharpening when making the jpgs. Here are the same two pics using the identical process but output to 900px(+borders). So, using Argote's 1024 size option, these shouldn't have been resized at all and be exactly as they appear on my screen at home.... Comparing side by side, I find it hard to tell the difference but maybe these ones are a little sharper....

Great and what little noise! Do you sharpen between resizing? To me it looks these could be much sharper and that would make these even better. TFS Mikey.

Paso, I like the low angle. The sky colour and main trees are great but I'm afraid I find the foreground blurry stems quite distracting.

But I now have a new idea - using water drops as fisheye lenses.   Actually, I'm sure someone tried it before somewhere though....

That's fun indeed. Too bad the resulting image is a bit vague - but that's not the point here of course. Well spotted.

Just for fun, here's the drop at 200% crop, turned upside down. It turns out it is my middle son and he appears to be trying to break into our garden shed

Would you believe it is all reality.   No Pp except a bit of cropping.   I must go and look at the originals at 1:1 to see what secrets they reveal....

Grasses. Mirek will like that I like what's inside the drops. Is that pp'ed or reality?
