Dear Dyxumers,

I've just finished counting you votes (cheers to all those who are unable to follow simple instructions ) and I am pleased to announce the best one among all those excellent shots - very well executed and really Blossfeldt-like photo:

"Angelica archangelica (Holy Ghost)" by darosa

Then we have three photos which are almost ex-aequo (1-point differences in votes)

"Curcurbita" by Minky

and

"Dipsacus fullonum (Wild Teasel)" by Mark L

and

"Zig-zag (Lolium perenne)" by MiPr

Congratulations to the winner and the HMs and thank you all for voting and participation in this DPC ...

Happy shooting,
MiPr

Congratulations darosa, a fine Blossfeldt style image.

Well done Minky, Mark L and MiPr for some good competition.

Hopefully Blossfeldt would have been proud to have these presented in his memory.
Mark

congrats to darosa, then to the runners up.
Of course we all have our own opinions and for me the one most pleasing to my eye - form and colour - is the wild teasel. This did right from the start and not withstanding I am a wee bit unfamilar with blossfedt's work.

Just back from a holiday with no internet so a late but happy reaction from me. I'm honoured and very pleased to have won this competition: it was really very nice to experiment in Blossfeldt's style.
And I admired many of the contributions, the three HM's certainly among them.
