Ah yes, in the Torchwood series the main characters have their hidden lair below the square in front of the Millenium centre, so it's quite visible in the series
See my webpage!
A-mount stuff, and few µ43 stuff.

Another September visit...

The Pierhead Building is a Grade I listed building, built in 1897 as the headquarters for the Bute Dock Company.

Weeping Window is a cascade comprising several thousand handmade ceramic poppies seen pouring from a high window to the ground below, to commemmorate World War 1. It's been touring the country, I saw it at Caernarfon Castle last year and here it is at the Senedd, Cardiff (Welsh Government building).

Torchwood, not a tv programme I'm familiar with.

I walked to Penarth across the tidal barrage. The Wales Millennium Centre is behind the big wheel and the pierhead building.

Born in Cardiff of Norwegian descent, Roald Dahl was one of the world’s most inventive, mischievous, and successful storytellers.

The tidal barrage

A bus returned me to the city centre

Gouldina, your shots off Cardiff Castle reminds me of how well restored it is and how long it's been since I last went; well worth a revisit I know.

Yes rio, I do.
My preference is for the first; lights are a bit bright though.

That's funny Alan, that carousel was going to be in my next post.

@pegelli You were also in Cardiff Bay and your first image is of the Pierhead Building as seen in my post. I think it is a wonderful example of Victorian architecture dating from 1897 and now a Grade I listed building.

I've only been in Cardiff once, they took us out for dinner there when we were working for about a week at a plant in Newport (November 2008)

Here's what I got:

Mind the bandwidth of others, don't link pictures larger then 1024 wide or 960 pix high, see here
