Taken back in July 2024, this will soon be part of Singaporeans' memories. From the right, the Golden Mile will be torn down, it is a commercial and residential building that is iconic in Singapore, many Singaporeans would board buses to bring them to Malaysia for their holidays when air travel was costly. In the centre, the Singapore Indoor Stadium will also be making way for a new stadium, it has been a concert and sports venue for many Singaporeans. Only the National Stadium which is newer will stand for now. This scene will take a major change in a couple of years!

Why not, Brian? Just do it. It would be nice to compare places, you were in 60ties and today.

Ahh, my home in 1987. I also visited when living in the Philippines in 1999 and again in 2006.
We lived in Leoie Hill Rd behind the Mandarin Hotel.
Thanks for posting and reminding me of good times. I'm motivated to go back and find my old negs and slides ;_0
