Dear Dyxumers,

Eventually I managed to finish vote counting and I am pleased to announce the photo which won the competition this time ...

"Leashed but Lost" by deeltje

As usual we have also Honourable Mention awards which go to:

"The Lost Bear" by waldo_posth

and

"Lost our lives" by alphabart

Congratulations to the winner and the HMs and thank you all for voting and participation in this DPC ...

Happy shooting,
MiPr

Exceedingly nice pictures all three; many congratulations :)

I'd like to clarify the title of my entry: As far as loss of faith in humanity was concerned, it was meant as a thought the bike had, not the photographer. A bike in a river is no reason to lose faith in humanity.

My congratulations to deeltje and alphabart for their fine pictures!
And thanks for making me a runner up! Thanks to the mods for setting up a challenge with a topic to think about as well!

Thanks everyone for voting and thanks to everyone on this forum, this was my first photo-competition ever and winning this means the world to me, especially being picked out between such amazing shots of the other competitors. I've started shooting about 10 months ago and this just shows that it's not impossible for an amateur like me to make some interesting photos, it gives a lot of hope ;-)

I didn't just gain a new hobby but a healthy obsession ;)
