She was smelling something in that big grass. As it turned out it was ... a mole. It was lucky - managed to escape (although it was close to be hunted).

Hi MiPr,

A lovely (I almost said 'cute' for a moment there..) small set from you on this; the cat clearly has a great deal of fun doing this and the last shot specifically shows a very pleasing portrait of the animal, with a level of intent and attention on it's face that is actually very nicely done (ours are usually marching towards the camera at this stage... ).

I see you are 'into' IR at the moment and this seems to suit the subject rather well; I'm not going to get into the debate over whether the blacks are black enough or the whites white enough - I just consider these to be very nicely and pleasingly balanced overall and it's a pleasure looking at all three of them!
