Great work Fred, especially like 1 and 3, but the light in #2 is nice as well.

Good to start practicing for week 50, I will have to follow such a good example but I will have to wait a few more days before my designated week 50 lens arrives. After that it's going to be bubble time (or more likely practicing to get bubbles)

The Takumar is obviously a great lens!

Beautiful series - with #2 and #3 my favorites in it!

Thank you for propagating the 50s week! The sign-up will be opened next week.

Thanks Pieter and congrats with your new toy! I am sure you will make this fine lens shine in your hands!

I had a PM exchange with Fred_S (the originator of this thread) and agreed we would make this the official start of the week 50 training thread. The sign-up thread has been put up, so the official training can begin

1: First shot I took with the lens

2: Autumn composition I

3: Autumn composition II

All on an A7ii

Thank you, Pieter, for converting Fred's thread into the official training thread!

Now you have me “focussing” on the Week 50 challenge as I too am a member of the Trioplan 50 club, albeit rather lapsed. So thanks to Fred, Pieter, Ine and Harald I’m popping over to the sign up thread and then I’ll return for some practice

It was a beautiful morning today, so I took my bicycle and went to a piece of wood I hadn't visited for some time.

Maybe more to come later, but I really liked this one (full height, cropped sideways to 4x3)
