Just my two cents, but I think the colors are not that bad. They represent the scene in reality. Yes, there are adjustments that can be made to enhance it and make it something special, and spending time to improve your editing skills would not only make this photo better, but would give you more confidence and drive you to produce more work. I like it.

The one thing that I would suggest is cropping and reducing the amount of sky by about 2/3. In my opinion, it has nothing to add to the contrast between the magnificent tree line in the distance and the single tree in the foreground. Give it more of a panorama feel and it will sing. Again, in my opinion.

God bless and keep shooting. I look forward to seeing more from you.

Thnx. I think I agree. The sky is the reason I choose the 16:9 format, but I do agree it still is much uninteresting sky.
I kept on feeling that there is a better picture in there.

Hi Brian - thanks for the kind words - greatly appreciated. The park was full of trees similar to this; a great year for Fall colours indeed.

Take care and best regards, Neil.

Thanks - it also wasn't until yesterday that I spotted the Lurker! Can't believe I processed that all the way through LR and PS and didn't spot him!!

Thanks both for the kind comments though - this tree was tucked away off the beaten track (Julie was fungi hunting at the time!).

Take care and best regards, Neil.
