[UK] PRS LML License for Slideshow

Hello,

I did a wedding for a friend of a friend and was given a gift in return with minor financial value. (I'm not a business... although I might use these as portfolio in the future if I decide I want to maybe make it one)

I was thinking of putting together a slideshow of some of the photos with their first dance song as the background and giving it to them along with all the images, and this is where I'm seeking some advice!


I was going to get a PRS LML license for "over-dubbing" of a song, Making < 5 copies and the music lasting < 25 minutes.

But when I applying for the licence it asks what media I'm using, giving only quite antiquated options (mini-disc, vinyl...) and the closest option would e CD-ROM... although I'd probably actually be giving it to them on a USB.

I delved a bit further into the licensing and there seemed to be another licences covering DMD (digital media devices; USB, HDD, Memory Cards etc) but it seems more like "added value" to a commercial CD option where the main purpose is to have commercial songs on the media (not overdubbing), the license is also a factor of 10-100x the price of the Limited manufacture licence.

Would anyone know what would be best?



Another query (as I've been reading whilst I type) - If the LML does cover this and I give it to them and they then share this on social media etc, who would be liable? As I'm sure the LML wouldn't cover social media... would I need to pre-warn them not to share it online? I'm not using it as advertising and I have no name or contact details of my own on it.
