Used a99ii vs a7riv cost

I have been trying to plan for the day when my a99ii develops some issue that makes it unusable. What should I do. Get it repaired, replace it with a used a99ii body, or buy an a7riv plus plus LA-EA5. In the process of thinking this through I discovered that the cost of a used a99ii and a used a7riv are about the same? That was a surprise to me??

Yes, but the price of a used A7Riv will drop as soon as the v comes out, whereas the A99ii won't.
Miranda F & Sensorex, Sony A7Rii, A58, Nex-6, Dynax 4, 5, 60, 500si/600si/700si/800si, various Sony & Minolta lenses, several Tamrons, lots of MF primes and *far* too many old film cameras ...
