I am sure I read somewhere recently that you can claim duties back.
After I had ordered an A77mk2 from Germany, I remembered Brexit...and taxes, and started to wish I had gone for a different one in the US as they are 20% tax as well as Europe/Japan.... when my A77mk2 arrived from Dresden...I had a nice surprise...no customs/tax. Too expensive to be classed as a gift. I have another camera coming from Estonia...let's hope I am as lucky this time. Regards,Rob. |

If anyone still looking I have Dynax 5D for sale (with Sigma 28-70 3.5/4.5). Got it with a dead battery, no history. Raplaced the battery & charger with new, shot a few shots, and now it just picks up dust because I have few other cameras with lenses that I shoot.
Seems to be working ok, just few rubber port covers missing. PM for more details. Shipping in EU & United Kingdom if needed :) |

Interestingly enough 3 7D's were just posted for sale on an Australian buy&sell FB group, advertised as in working condition...for $30

You can't go wrong for $30 , if they do work correctly. Check before you hand over your money though. I'd be worried buying if they were to be posted to you unseen . No buyer protection like on eBay . |

Apart from the ergonomics of the 7d , the main reason I still use mine is because off the images that CCD sensor puts out , as was the one in my Sony a100 . Really liked it . The CMOS sensor in the a700 doesn't give me anything that my modern cameras don't . I have an a700 because I wanted one when they came out , but as I'd bought the a100 when it first came out , I could never justify the slight upgrade. I have one now because it effectively came free with a lens I wanted , but I rarely use it , preferring the Dynax 7d . |
