Don't get drunk and don't fall into the water.

Here's a male pigeon to go with the female pigeon (the male went after the female so it was obvious what he wanted LOL)

Yes that's a person on her cell phone with two dogs (Schnauzers?) and the pigeon is walking toward them. The dogs lunged, the woman (barely) kept control, the pigeon was mostly unconcerned! New York pigeons don't care!

MD 50/1.7 on nex5n with Lens Turbo, angle of view about 54mm, T-stop about 1.3, F-stop about 1.5 maybe. It's a cheap adapter so there is a steep falloff with more spherical aberrations the farther from the center, so if it's in focus but not in the exact center it has halos around it (just my thing LOL).
There is a difference between a shaky or out-of-focus photograph and a snapshot of clouds and fog banks. - Schrödinger

Day 5 out-take. Sticking to my self-imposed B&W for the week in my daily entries, but couldn't not share this colourful summery image of the same subject. Same camera and lens settings.

Day 5 outtake:

Although it is winter (if you can call the winter here a winter...), many people don't give up swimming.

About to drive off into the fog to take my wife for her scheduled Covid-19 booster jab. Woke up to find the fog had descended on the village and now, late in the afternoon, it is still with us, so I haven't been out. Instead I have been giving my film cameras a cuddle and watching Thomas Heaton videos. He specifically shoots landscapes with digital and film and spends hours over a single photograph. Compelling videos I think.

In case the fog didn't stay I popped out into the drive at the crack of half past nine (well I am retired) and took a quick shot:
