The week begins with clear sunny sky and low temperature. I took the bus to Dinorwic quarry and spent aa couple of hours before getting the next one back. Icy surfaces will be the main challenge this week, rather than rain.

My week begins with an injured shoulder and a bad cold. Fuelled by Paracetamol I'll get by, the shoulder works ok if I keep my elbow below the shoulder.

Where is your (thumbnail) photo hosted? Also note that the forum software used by Dyxum does not like image links that are script queries (eg. [code]https://example.com/script?query[/url]).

Is it your camera holding arm? Thankfully the A7 III is not that heavy! Hope it will get better soon.

The problem with week 50 are the short days - we'll see how we deal with it this year. Today I worked from home and popped out for a few pictures, tomorrow I am at the office, We'll see what happens.

Jasper, you're trying to link to a page, but you need to link to the image file.

On the Flickr page click on the circular arrow at the right bottom of the screen (between the star and the downpointing arrow) and then select the "BBCode Tab", select "Large (1024x680)" from the drop down list and then copy the whole link and paste that in the post.

If you do you'll see this:

Hope this helps, if not just ask further.

Nice to see some sunshine on Day 1, there wasn't the slightest suggestion that it would appear in these parts. Very icy here and a challenge just to stay upright at times but managed a couple of shots before a battery that was freshly charged ran out.

@snegren Hope the shoulder and cold are soon better.
