The two main parts are wonderful to listen but I could do with out the backing group

We mainly get the Cockatoos in the morning with the occasional Kookaburra. I could definitely live without them in the mornings...

Just listening to Alison Krauss - "The Lucky One".

I like that one a lot. I'm a fan of AK and also a little group she has on her label, Nickel Creek.

Thank you for the suggestion - have already heard some of their music.
"The Lucky One" is, of course, a bit too ... hard to say for me (and the video is underlining that).

I like "Crazy as me" even more:
"Crazy as me" by Alison Krauss

But I was really enthralled (sorry, British English) by "That kind of love" on "Forget about it":
"That kind of love" by Alison Krauss
That had been my first encounter with AK.

I would really like to listen to her music live. But that would probably mean to go to Scotland in November.

Took a short walk after work and by “accident” happened to visit “Bengans record store”, so now I have four new LP’s to listen to.

The Dave Brubeck Quartet - Time Out, repress
e.s.t - Strange place for snow
Nina Simone - Little Girl Blue, repress
The Wannadies - be a girl, 25 year anniversary

Better get started before Stina comes home😉

Mark Knopfler - Down the Road Wherever

Getting in tune ready to see him at the O2 in May

The Dave Brubeck Quartet - Time Out,___Wow, regarded by many, including me, as the signature jazz album of its time. Still very listenable today, as all great jazz is. I remember having that vinyl record back in the day!

Larkin Poe is now on their first European tour and has sold out every venue so far, then on to Australia and New Zealand. Catch them if you can.
