Everything but now on Qobuz.

I cannot recall if I mentioned The Tardis which is an extremely high resolution small room system. Anything that's properly recorded from Spotify sounds fabulous. In HR from Qobuz and even CD quality, sounds even better.

And of course much of the music ever recorded is available at the fingertips. We live in amazing times.

Something recent: Moonglow by Enigmatic

As usual on a school evening sorry, work evening, I am going down a rabbit hole. Some songs I listened to this night:
Jolene - Miley Cyrus and Dolly Parton
Party in the USA - Miley Cyrus
Heart of Glass - Miley Cyrus (Blondie cover)
Survivor - Destiny's Child
I will survive - Hermes House Band (better then Gloria Gaynor)
Several Glee covers
Rumour has it - Adele
Diamonds - Rihanna
Shape of you - Ed Sheeran
All of you - John Legend
Pitbull - Give Me Everything - "Take a picture of me with a Kodak"
Blank space - Taylor Swift
And to end it all: Gangsta's paradise by Coolio.

Now it is time to go to sleep - tomorrow is a school day - sorry, working day

Some old memories coming up in recent posts - The Partisan and memories of chilled times so long ago Cohen didn't do many covers but this is a gem. Brought to ming Al Stwarat's Roads to Moscow - he must have been influenced by it.

And the Marshall Tucker Band brings to mind a friend from near Spartanburg who was keen to ensure his English guest got to know his local heroes - RIP Carl.

What am I listening to? Recently I've been checking out The Big Push, a busker band in Brighton pre-Covid featuring Ren Gill.

I wouldn't consider Miley Cyrus covering Blondie's Heart of Glass "mellow"
