When I first filled in an entry on this subject I was an IT Project Manager, since I have retired and have taken on various unpaid jobs, including two school governorships, a part-time proofreaders assistant and web-designer, and latterly have been taken on as a stem-cell courier...

Bovine chiropodist. Translated, it means I trim cows feet, in the South East of Ireland.
For hobbies, I use an a700 + lenses and am also involved with a group that restores GM engined railway locos.

Just to update, im now out of the utilities industry after redundancy, having a foray into the rail industry. Im currently looking after the service planning of when our trains need to return to depot for exams and maintenance, along with other bits like forcasting when items need to be replaced.

Its a much busier day job then that last, the days and weeks fly by. it should also allow me access to some interesting shots if you're into trains and stuff.

Mark.

Update from me: 24 years as a British Army regular ("AsYouWere!" is now available from the Amazon Kindle Store) followed by another 24 years with the Civil Service, and now wonderfully retired.

For the first time in my life I got a dog when I retired, a Golden Retriever puppy. He has taken over my life 😍 (even has his own website - see my sig)

Semi retired as CEO of a small IT company I founded long ago. Had a wonderful time figuring things out and (usually) getting paid for it. Photography a lifelong hobby thanks to my Dad and grandfather.
