This topic is for discussion of possible meetings anywhere in Australia. Dyxum members are invited to suggest meetings and make preliminary plans in this thread. Once you have settled on a venue and date/dates, PM me or any other admin/moderator about having a specific planned event thread set up (this makes your event more visible to other members!).
Keep an eye on regions that are near where you live and, if you are visiting somewhere that has a group, why not drop them a line in their regional thread?

This is the Asean Regional meeting thread. The size and geography of Asean means it is impractical to get people together from across the whole region. However, because of the small/ very small number of members in each country, the large number of low cost airlines flying to a wide range of destiantions nowadays, and the existence of three travel hubs (Singapore, Bangkok and - due largely to Air Asia - Kuala Lumpur) I thought it would be best to put all potential Asean meetings in the same place.

If you are interested in meetings (now or far in the future) please say so below. Of course, no commitment or expectation you would ever actually join in - just to give people an idea in which locations there might be nterested people.

This still being Canikon country (for now) I suggest meetings here should make it clear they would welcome accompanying users of all other mounts - as long as they are outnumbered by the Alphas! However, I guess that's up to the individual trying to organise the meeting.

Look forward to maybe meeting some of you.
