I tried to open a new topic on that but it seems I cannot do it

I am now on business in Columbus, Ohio and I am here for the first time, I don't know the place .

Would any of you be so kind and show me around Columbus on Saturday or Sunday? I think it would be nice to meet and make some pictures and then sip a beer ;) (I've already tried local Columbus beer ;) )

Sorry, I'm not near Columbus Ohio.

Either March 7th or 8th I'll be heading up to Middle Creek Wildlife area. The estimates of geese and swans on Feb 25th was:
Canada Geese 5,000
Snow Geese 80,000
Tundra Swans 3,600

I'll update in a couple days as to which day we'll be heading up along with the times!

I'll be attending an event in Price, Maryland this Apr. 25 which is located near the Delaware border. It's a launch of a scale model Saturn V rocket and if all goes well will be a world record.
See this thread for more info.

Hey Cam,
Is this the Montezuma by Buffalo ?
It looks like it would be a great weekend, a little far for me and my "camping days" are something from my past that I don't want to revisit.

Cam, I can do it, depending on the weekend. I'm a teacher and don't work during the summer (my wife picks up extra hours during the summer ). I'll PM you later this weekend with dates I wouldn't be able to because of other trips.

Tom, it's actually located right near Syracuse, about 2 hours away from buffalo, an hour away from rochester, an hour north of Binghamton. It's on the nothern tip of Cayuga lake, the easternmost finger lake. here's a link to he US Fish and Wildlife services webpage on it..

Sorry the camping did not work out for me. I'm actually not going camping at all this summer (I usually head out for a week by myself every summer).

On Monday, unless the forecast is for rain when I check the weather Monday morning, I will be heading out to Cape May and hitting the trails around the light house as well as the bird sanctuary up the street from it (I forget the name of that sanctuary!). I plan on being there as early as I can. If any can make it, I will be back at the light house (with my black backpack with Dyxum patch on the back) at about 9:00. I will not have access to the internet except for my BB. If you can make it, you can respond on here and it'll get sent to me or send to my e-mail (ferretsnicker20 (at) yahoo (dot) com.).

OK, I have tried this two years in a row (this will be the third). From reading members posts and responses here I know that there are quite a few members in Northern N.J.. spring is comming, how about a Dyxum meeting to head out to Sussex County to photograph some spring flowers, farms, or what ever? If that don't work how about just meet somewhere to do some show & tell about our gear and techniques and consume large quanties of coffee.

I sm in the Philly area and frequently come up to north jersey for work. I would be happy to make the trip up, or if there is a critical mass near Philly, there are many locations as well. Just let me know when and where.

Thanks!

I am in the Mid-Atlantic - Northern VA, I am heading up to New Jersey motorsports raceway on July 31st again this year http://store.njmp.com/store/category/9/71/FERRARI-CHALLENGE/ Probably going to go Saturday/Sunday again...I know some people went last year. I met up with GSHall2015 (Geoff) and there was another Sony user there, but I can't remember his name...it is a fun time if you are interested in auto racing

I'm in the Philly area and could travel into Jersey if there is other interest. Any other Philly people I could meet locally. I'd love to get together with other Sony users.
