Iím looking for inspiration and company! I do a calendar each year for my dad of my 12 best (non-people) photos and this year I was really disappointed with my 2019 haul, particularly from landscape or wildlife perspective. It was a busy year, with only 1 weekís holiday, and also my first year back in the UK, plus having a young family, but these are all excuses really. Iím living near Reading and really want to have a photography thing in the calendar for a Saturday or Sunday. Doesnít need to be soon, but Berkshire, or Buckinghamshire ideally. Anyone got any ideas or plans that I could tag along on?

I don't have anything planned, but would be interested in joining in if something comes along. I am intending to do more Oxford photowalks this year - when they get going again.

Simon, Goodwood is on again (Sony+LCE event) this year on July 4th if you and any one else wants to join.

I am not in the country 6th Feb to 2nd March. Apart from that I'm happy to join but preferably weekends.

I'd be interested too. Goodwood sounds interesting, but if you're interested in Oxford I can help guide people around.

Oxford or surrounding area sounds good. Was thinking of an early start for sunrise (so next few months ideally else itís a *very* early start!), then perhaps into town for breakfast, coffee and walk around town?

Midlands is a bit of a trek, but if you know some stunning spots for sunrise then I could be tempted

I have been absent from Dyxum for a loooong time. I am a frequent visitor to Reading and will in fact be there over the coming weekend. May be an opportunity to meet some local photographers for a wander around somewhere interesting. I am usually in Reading every three weeks or so. Martin

Those interested in a meet between Reading and Oxford, before we work out exactly where, availability wise the following dates work for me:

26 January
14 March
15 March
Can these work for others?

Once weíve got a date in we can sort out precise location in a dedicated thread?

I'm more of a sunset guy ... but let's see what's possible. I'll have to check and get back later, but 14 March is the start of the Photo Show in Birmingham (though I'm likely to go on the Monday), and that might affect availability?

I can't make 26th January, the 14/15th March is currently possible. Not so sure about sunrise though.

I can't make 26th January either (parent's wedding anniversary).

Prefer 14th March but can also do 15th March.
Open to anywhere within 60-90 minutes drive or 2 hours on train.

Worst comes to worst there isn't a shortage of things to shoot in London
