It seems that Piccadilly is being chosen to fit my arrival? If so I have a spanner to put in the works! I will be there as planned, but have just realised (typical bad planning in my part) that most museums will be closed on Monday. As I particularly want to visit Salford Museum it will have to be on Sunday, between my arrival and 4pm.
Perhaps you two may wish to join up earlier and check out Castleford in slightly better light - and I will join you at Salford Quays? |

I'm happy visiting the museum as I've not been there before .
Likewise getting into town earlier isn't a problem , being local . So I'm easy either way . Possibly visit Castlefield on Monday ? The area of interest isn't a large area . Just takes a bit of a walk to get there from the other side of the town center . |
