I am very seriously considering gradually moving over to E Mount, but cannot afford to replace my lenses at this time. So the next best things is one of the adaptors which I swore I was never going to use. Nothing is forever I guess

Trouble is I am totally confused as to which adaptor is going to be the right one. All I want is to be able to attach my current A mount lenses to an A7Riii, so am I correct in saying that the LAEA3 does not support AF-C, phase detection AF nor AF in video recording. Also will my Tamron lenses work with this adaptor?
Regards
Allan

The LA-EA3 supports phase-detect and AF-C in stills mode. It does not support AF-C video AF. You can press the shutter and use AF-S while recording video. AF-C only continues during stills bursts at the "LO" frame rate setting. At higher frame rates AF-C locks at the first frame of the burst.

Thanks for the reply.

AF-C in LO will not be an option for my wildlife and bird photography so maybe I need to reconsider E mount until I can afford the lenses.
