Dear Dyxumers,

I've just finished counting all votes and I am pleased to announce THE photo which won the "Glass" DPC:

"Bottles" by Sanjuro

I especially admire the effort put by Sanjuro into the preparation of the subject

The above photo had worthy followers two of which get the Honourable Mention award ...

"A Large Glass of Champagne" by RubberDials

As usual the winner will get beautiful and shiny Golden Dyxum Patch.

Congratulations to the Great Three and thank you all for voting and participation in this DPC.

Happy shooting,

MiPr

Congatulations Sanjuro, well deserved and a good reason to pop another one open for a toast.

Also congrats for the runners-up, very well executed shots as well.

There's no shame in limping in third behind Sanjuro - the guy is a huge talent.

Also have to say as much as I dislike studio photography and set-up shots Boyanphotography's 'Storm in a wine glass' is beautiful to look at and much better than my picture.

Like MiPr, I too appreciate the 'preparation' put into his shot by Sanjuro. he can 'prepare' some more now he's won!

Congratulations to the winner and the two honourable mentions

I'm still waiting for this one day when Gustavo will explain in details his workflow to create such images, in the meantime I'll just have to sit back and admire his work
