Dear Dyxumers,

The vote counting has just been finished and I am pleased to announce the best B&W flower photo in this contest...

"(Aerosol) Spray of Marigolds" by Bob J

As usual we have also Honourable Mention awards which go to:

"Hibiscus" by Malina DZ

and

"The Big Bang" by darosa

Congratulations to the winner and the HMs and thank you all for voting and participation in this DPC.

Happy shooting,
MiPr

A fine winning pic from one of Dyxum's Masters of Black and White.

The competition started slowly but it generated a lot of great entries - I found the final vote very difficult.    The HM's also get a big round of applause

Many congratulations Bob, great picture and conversion indeed.

Also like the HM's, very different, but again good tonalities and interesting compositions.
You can see the April Foolishness 2023 exhibition here Another great show of the talent we have on Dyxum

Congrats Bob! A great capture that shows that grittiness can work excellently in such a 'soft' subject. Well done Malinus too with your nice and soft Hibiscus.

And very happy to see my exploding dandelion clock in your company!
