Dear Dyxumers,

I am pleased to announce the photo which won the competition this time:

"Lilly up close" by Fred_S

The Honorable Mention awards this time go to four excellent runner-up photos with the same number of points:

"Straws" by zbozic

"The negotiation" by MinoltaMad

"Heart Of The Chrysanthemum" by owenn01

... and ...

"The male wool carder" by angora

Congratulations to the winner and the HMs and thank you all for voting and participation in this DPC.

Wow, that's a big honour! Thanks all for your votes.
Good to see that my own votes made it to the great set of HM's. Congrats to all of you. And a big thanks to Svjetlana for organising these DPC's in such a structured manner .

Great image, Fred - I can almost feel that pollen in there the texture is so perfectly rendered!

I am also somewhat surprised to bet amongst the 'HM's' with mu shot - the others are so much more inventive!

Well done to all and to all the other participants in this challenge.

Take care all and best regards, Neil.

Congrats Fred and others! Lovely shots. Owenn - your Chrysanthemum, Fred's lily and Zbozic's straws are total wall art! I'd metal print those and hang em. The straws you'd hang in an office or as a creative stock image. I felt the same as you Fred - my own votes - it's also nice to get a rough estimate on your own voting/analysis. Svjetlana runs organised comps and interesting themes indeed!

Wonderful to see. Congratulations all round, and as far as I recall, this must be the biggest 4 way tie in Dyxum's history for HMs.
