I am pleased to announce the photo which won the competition this time:

What wonderful news to wake up to, Saturday morning in Melbourne.

In my 15+ years membership here, I've had an honourable mention in several past contests, and been included in weekly exhibitions, but I've never before won a Dyxum Photo Contest nor been named as POTW.

So it's a real thrill to be joining the esteemed ranks of those who's works are hung in the Dyxum Photo Contest Hall of Fame.

A big thank-you to Svjetlana who organises these contests, and inventively creates the challenges (usually setting the bar very high with her example images at the start), the participants, voters, and the admin team who curate the Hall of Fame and front page news.

And of course, congrats to the HMs on their fine images.
Blue Hour is a favourite and special time for its light and colour and delivers unique and striking images as is well demonstrated by this contest.
