how do you travel / how did you get there? (think I see ski tracks too?).

here we had our dusting of snow. no more than a few inches, and before the 1st flakes fell, the railway company cancelled half of the trains. not because huge amounts of snow + frost were expected, thus damage to power lines, tree branches, snow banks n such, just a little snow.
(same with the 1st autumn leaves coming down nowadays. ever since the public railway went into private hands).
and I keep wondering how other countries cope with average amounts of snow. does it leave your countries disrupted and in chaos for an entire winter?
if I recall correctly, the train used to be THE option after some serious snowfall (not meters!) in the past?
(and the roads were still fairly usable then, not as jammed. but then, snow was still quite common in winter back then?).

Thanks Ine!
This location is in NP Tara. It is at around 1000 meter above see level. I go there by car. Government takes care of snow on roads on daily basis. As for gravel roads of low priority local people also help.
