Snowy fields of University of Helsinki research farm in Viikki

α900 + Minolta AF 24 mm F2.8 @ 24 mm, f/9, 1/1000 s, ISO 200

And yes, as already mentioned in Dyxum Postcard Exchange thread, this is an old photo, the current weather in Helsinki happens to be warm (for November, +9 °C) and wet and thus there is no snow and none is expected in the near future...

I had wished to get some bird on this rowan tree branch, but alas not today...

Some shots of our annual winterbivouac. These are made in the Vosges / France. Three nights in a shelter, one night in the mountaincabin of the Club Alpine de France.

All pictures made with Sony NEX-7 and 18-55mm kitlens.

The last picture is your 'humble reporter' made by my buddy!
Quit a lot of ALPHA and NEX gear, a nice collection of Sigma lenses, Dynax and M42 stuff, Gitzo's, Visico's and lots of video-equipment

^^Wow, that's a bit too hardcore for me, it must be quite rewarding if you keep going back! I like the lone tree shot very much, and I hope the refuge was a little more homely than it appears in the photo (which I also really like btw)
You win or you learn....
