Wow, what a match - and over a 2 days!
In to the final
That's put a lot of the pundits in their place.
Now to find out who they will play.

As an Indian team supporter,

The score of 240 ought not to have been too demanding but losing top 3 batsmen with 5 runs on the board pretty much sealed.
Kudos to Jadeja for mounting a defiant attack.

Kudos, of course, to Henry for the early breaks.
More Dyxumer, less photographer.

The Judge (team) that wears the black cap that put the death sentence on the other teams they played that didn't make it in to the final

There’s a huge difference between 240 runs in a match at the pointy end of a tournament and 240 runs in a match with less consequences. I always thought 240 could be enough; after those first few overs the balance definitely shifted to NZ.

However, the Black Caps shouldn’t expect 183 to be enough in the final.

20/2.8 | 28/2.8 | 50/1.4 | 135/1.8Z | 300/4 | 500/8
A6500 + 10-18 | 16-70Z | 18-135 | 70-200/4G

Afraid it wasn't very enjoyable from here in Australia, but England played superbly.
Should be a cracking final - may the better team win their first World Cup.

To use a phrase from another sport - "Game On!"

May the best side win....

Now I understand!

This is not at all about the black caps contrary to the white caps you sometimes find on the rear of A-mount lenses.

(I presume these black caps are photographed with Sony cameras at least.)

Very awkward. Do I want England to be runners up for the fourth time, or do I want New Zealand to repeat their runners up result from 2015? 🤔

Either way, there will be a new name on the trophy.

I don't have any doubts about the result I want! Come on England! Though it has to be said that turning the tables on Australia and trouncing them in the semis is about as good as it gets for us Poms.

Sadly cricket is the A mount of UK sports at present, fading despite the excellence of the product. This weekend we have Wimbledon finals, the British Grand Prix, the Tour de France and even the Netball World Cup - all in the news as much or more than the Cricket World Cup final. :(
