4 years is a long time, how many current players will get the chance to play again?

And Australia will probably win it anyway

Four years from now, as long as the trophy comes back home for the sixth time, I won't care which team is runners up.

I'm rather more interested in the next couple of months personally...

By "comes back home" I take it you mean India since that's where the next world cup is, we are in agreement

I am a bit surprised that they didn't include the other countries in the sub-continent to host.

Sorry, I think you misunderstood. By home for the sixth time, I was referring to a team that has previously won five times. Even if you lump India, Pakistan & Sri Lanka together, that's still only four wins.

I know what u meant. I was just playing on the words because I support India (and/or England depending on who is winning)

I knew you knew, but why waste an opportunity to remind you who has won it most?

Looks like the umpire also now admits the mistake of awarding an extra run to England - https://sports.ndtv.com/world-cup-2019/cricket-world-cup-final-umpire-admits-error-report-2072881

Now this really does feel like a hollow victory

And now we move on to one of the other big rivalries in sport - after two close semi-finals, once again Australia and New Zealand meet in the final of the netball world cup! Always a good match when these two teams meet.

To quote the umpire "But we did not have the luxury of TV replays at the ground and I do not regret the decision I made."

Excuse me - so how do you see the replay of run outs to check if out or not?? or are there special cameras only focussed on each end and nothing in between?? No overall camera view for the 3rd ( turd??) umpire
