Hi everyone,

After a short break it's back to updating the Yellowstone trip and so on to the second part of Day 8.

1. Run-off At Biscuit Basin

2. Thermal Pool

3. Subdued Reflections

4. Trace the Hot Spots

5. Grazing in Firhole Creek

6. Cool Blue Water

7. Fountain paint Pots Mud Pools

8. Mud Column

9. Bison! Loads of Them!!

10. Winter Bullrushes

11. Bullrush Grouping

12. Mother and Calf - Negotiating The Tree trunk

13. Found A Tasty Morsel

14. The Family Unit In The Warm River Water

So ended Day 8 and, unfortunately, our last day of snow coach travel in the park. The rest of the trip was to be by car but to the North sections of Yellowstone where rods are kept open over the winter.

Thanks for looking and comments always welcomed.

Best regards, Neil.

Another beautiful set.
Love #1 for the texture and richness of the earthen bank set in its monochrome snowy setting, the natural abstraction of #4, and particularly the minimalist (slightly overexposed?) elegance of the bullrushes in #10.

1,5 and 6 are my picks. I think I have encountered the pattern shown in #6 myself many times in different locations and it always captured my attention. There is something to nature that it "reuses" some building blocks here and there :)
Lovely set!
