Which one makes you feel, 'oh, this one doesn't have that function (whatever it is)?

I was looking at an A7iii before going for the A7Rii. I get the impression both cameras are similar in their characteristics but there are a few things one does but the other doesn't do as well. I'm happy with the one I picked, but I don't really do back-ups; I like something different as an alternate. That's currently a Nex-6 but I could see myself with an original A7 as alternate despite all the things it doesn't do. It reminds me of the simpler mechanical cameras I used to have.

Miranda F & Sensorex, Sony A7Rii, A58, Nex-6, Dynax 4, 5, 60, 500si/600si/700si/800si, various Sony & Minolta lenses, several Tamrons, lots of MF primes and *far* too many old film cameras ...

Good question on which I have been thinking since I read your question, without being able to answer it for myself: GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome)?
However, for birding (in my backyard or in the region) I own a 70-300G which is to short, actually. So when it comes to a crop, the A7Rii gives imho more possibilities than the A7iii.

To Admins:
Getting back restrictions for repeated voting is necessary in this poll - it strangely appeared possible...
Please also correct registered vote count for a6000 by clearing my wrong two extra ones.
