Looking out at Bethlehem, PA at night (with Star of Bethlehem in the distance).

Closer shot of the Star of Bethlehem.

Nothing beats Las Vegas for Night Shot Subjects.

Here's a couple of examples.

#1

#2

Both shot with the A350 without a tripod. I used whatever I could find to hold the camera against.
C&C always welcome.

Classic Vegas indeed. Thanks for the reminder of how utterly garish it is.

Beautiful shots posted here today:

smcabbott, really nice. the slight bit of light from behind the mountains in the first really adds a lot. Was thinking about the second, if you would increase the black point a little the star of Bethlehem would seem to be standing in the black sky

ZC4TS: You took great care of placing the reflections in the right spot for the first one. The second is a nice shot as well.

Daninho, beautiful. Just enough "blue hour" left to see the mountain range in the back and I like the colour contrast between the warm foreground and cool background.

Last weekend we were in Ljubljana to pick up our daughter after she studied there for six month. Didn't have much time, but quickly took some (handheld, 2000 iso) shots on our walk towards the restaurant for dinner

Hmm, interesting, think you might be right about that! Thanks for the comments Pieter. I really like your shots of the Galerija Emporium, esp. the last one.

@Daninho - that is a beautiful shot.
