Any opinions here?

I like the first shot better - not so cramped; the second just seems to tightly cropped.

I agree that light is a distraction in shot number 1 but that could be quickly cloned out.

Had a small infidelity with my April Foolishness 3 commitment to the 85/1.4

Shot the Zeebrugge LNG terminal with another of my beloved primes (the 200/2.8HS):

Taken during the "blue hour" after chasing the sun on Saturday the 17th.
You can see the April Foolishness 2023 exhibition here Another great show of the talent we have on Dyxum

One from a trip to Bright (N.E. Victoria) last weekend. A900 + Sig 50mm at f1.4 800ISO hand held. Stitched with Autopano Giga 2. 3 frames 1/2.2 - 1/50 sec

I wanted to see how far I could push the boundaries (actually I forgot the tripod but I need some excuse ) I like the atmosphere in this one but I the sharpness is not brilliant. Must remember the tripod next time.

After more than three months again a night shot, this time of St.Moritz seen over the Lake:

Dynax7d, Sony 18-55mm at 35mm, f/6.7, 10s, ISO200

This could have been posted in the topic I didn't know it was there: I noticed the stars in the sky only after posting this on Dyxum
