"Paris France during the height of the Spring 2020 coronavirus lockdown" by brian33
Always wanted to to do a 365 pic-a-day but never had the courage, energy or time for it. Well, here's a way to ease into that mode with the Photo 150 challenge we're running for the first time in 2021. Just choose 3 projects/topics and post one photo per week on each. If you like it and do well maybe 2022 (or later) will be the year you finally take up the 365 challenge you've been dreaming about.
December is nearing, get out your nifty 50's and join! Pic-a-day from Monday December 7 to Sunday December 13
Dyxum April Foolishness was finished long time ago (yepp, time flies) but a very nice summary of what was happening during this challenge has been published just this week - best photo from DAF participants. Nice collection worth taking a look and maybe dropping a comment in the exhibition thread:
Those wanting to take a look at complete set of photos are encouraged to check DAF 2020 Thumbnails.
As you probably are aware, Dyxum Oktoberfest is a one-month challenge where participants restrict themselves to shoot with one (or two) prime lens(es) only. Various additional restrictions are possible like pic-a-day (one has to shoot everyday), only B&W, no PP, etc. Generally you challenge yourself in a way that you see the most appropriate to you.
Please do not hesitate to take a look - it is really worth spending those few minutes to check the gallery. To whet your appetite - above you can see one of the exhibits selected at random from the series of great shots: day 21 photo by bigsi.

Dyxum Week 50 finished few weeks ago with a lot of great photos from all participants. It's really a pleasure to look at what can be achieved with "just nifty-fifty" lens and a bit of commitment. To show off those results we prepared special exhibition where we present the best photo from each participant - please jump right to the thread below and do not forget to leave a comment in there.
