ownership:I own this lens
compared to:
price paid:$35.00 very used
positive:Of course --cheap. Reasonably sharp, super colors. Light, doesn't need huge filters. To me seems like a lot of lens for people on a tight budget.
negative:Slow to focus after zooming, fast enough after it "finds itself". Push-pull zoom for me, power zoom doesn't work on my sample. Manual focus is no fun.
comment:My only "long lens" at this point, though I had a couple of sigma 70-210, and a Quantaray 28-200, this is better in terms of sharpness than both.
