comment:Only had it for two weeks but I love it. This is the lens I didn't want to buy, it was my third purchase in one week! But with both caps, hood and boxed with full documentation I had to have it!

Without doubt it is the sharpest lens I have ever used and retains detail even when enlarged enough to pixalate; on a Film or FF body it would be amazing - can't wait.

As a portrait lens it is just fabulous, almost TOO sharp. Haven't noticed the AF hunting - unlike the macro so I guess its fine, it's excellent on the A700 and awesome on the A900!

If you are lucky enough to find one BUY IT, you know you want to!
