comment:The sharpest lens in this range that I own. At F2, subject is very sharp, and with the creamy bokeh, it has a 3D effect. I honestly can't see much difference in sharpness stopping down. The AF is pretty fast, even on the A100. It's such that I'm practicing shooting insects that hover with this lens. This is a small lens, considerably smaller than the 100 Macros. I always have a place for it in my bag.

Lucky me to find this lens at a somewhat local TV/Camera shop last summer. The owner knew what he had, but was willing to sell anyway. Is it worth the $1000 I've seen lately? I wouldn't pay that much, but it's certainly worth more than what I paid.
