positive:Image quality outstanding.
Nice handling.
Magnification scale nice to have.
Build quality is very solid.
negative:No tripod mount available AFAIK.
Hood not petal-shaped (a bit difficult with polariser)
comment:This is a fantastic macro lens. I have always been suprised at just how good an image you can get with this lens on a 7D.
Mind you, great with slide film in a 7 too.
I bought mine new from B&H, it's worth every cent.
Manual focusing is quite good.
Unconditionally recommended.
I would say this is the best prime lens in terms of image quality that I own.
