positive:Sharpest macro lens I have used. Faster focusing compared to Tamron 90mm, which is great when there's a need to use AF.
negative:Rare lens, almost impossible to find the RS version.
comment:I bought the Sony 50mm macro lens first, but unsatisfied with the short focal length, I went on to buy the Tamron 90mm. Both are great lenses, but I had a deal for the Minolta 100mm RS lens and I just have to buy it to try.

Sold my Tamron 90mm immediately. Kept my 50mm for portrait shots though.
