positive:+ Sharp

negative:- very very slow AF.
- Not comfort AF ring
- extends on focusing

comment:This is awesome lens for nature. Colors on CCD sensor on A100 are vivid and fantastic! Only minus is very slow AF, but it is not big problem for macro shooting. Sony 100/2.8 Macro faster focusing and have AF limiter on lens.
