positive: | Very good sharpness specially on macro pictures. Metal built body and bayonett mount. |
negative: | A bit heavy weight, small front wheel rotates when keep lens in a hand, a bit noisy in full AF mode |
comment: | One of my great lenses, old fashioned steel made, a bit heavy, but takes fabulous pictures! Worth its price for me! New Sony made (plastic?) one costs here ca.900 USD! Very good sharpness specially on macro pictures (i.e.: flowers, fleas, architecture details, people faces). Very good for taking pictures in less light rooms, enable me not to use flash in a room when kids don't like flash |
