positive:Nice wide lens with the 7D.
Ideal landscape lens with little curvature.
Good colour rendition
Nice bright lens with 2.8 aperture.
negative:Not sharp enough for portraiture, ok for landscape.
comment:This 20mm lens seems to be the ideal lens for landscape photography when used with the 7D. Recently in New Zealand, I found it to be my most used lens. However, I wasn't always that impressed with the sharpness. I feel that the zoom lens I bought with the camera is far sharper than the 20mm. It is easy enough to sharpen them using the Dimage software, but can be time consuming when you take thousands of photos.
