positive:Beautifully built. One fingertip manual focus when you want to use it that way. Ultra fast AF. This latest copy I have fount is ultra sharp for a super wide.
negative:There was obviously some production variance as mu current copy is the sharpest that I have come across buy quite a margin.
Super shiny finish looks naff.
comment:If you have a full frame Sony you should own this lens. It works on E-mount with the LA-EA4 brilliantly. As a manual focus lens it is a delight ( one finger focus ) with the LA-EA3 and it's brilliant on the A-mount cameras. Very fast focus, manual or auto. Or set to f8 and don't focus at all. It's all good. Great colours and very sharp for a super wide angle. Generally makes great looking images.
WATCH OUT. Some are not as sharp as others.
