|mavan#44245 date: Mar-15-2019|
flare control: 4
|ownership:||I own this lens|
|compared to:||- Sony Carl-Zeiss CZ 24-70/2.8 (version 1)|
- Sony Carl-Zeiss CZ 24/2
|price paid:||239 euro|
-possible to use a polarisation filter or others
-2.8 is already usable in the center if necessary
-max center sharpness at 5.6-8
-max corner sharpness at 11
|negative:||-focusing ring is to narrow , but all Minolta lenses in that time had the same problem|
|comment:||I was searching for some extra wide angel for my city trips because 24mm is something just not wide enough .|
First i wanted to buy a new Tamron SP 15-30/2.8 , but to big and heavy .
I found a 2nd hand Minolta 20/2.8 first version build between '86-'93 .
I have to say that this lens surprised me .
Although it's between 25-33 years old and made for analoge photography it performs surprisingly well on my A99II 42mp .
Better than i hoped for .
I normaly use this lens at 8-11 and when you use this
the lens even performs very good in the extreem corners !
I am very happy with this investment and can recommand it to everyone who is looking for some compact and light wide angel that give you that extra mm .
