ownership:I used to own this lens
compared to:Sigma 24-135 f2.8-4.5 Asph. IF
Sigma 70-200 F2.8 EX APO IF
price paid:
missing
positive:colour
front lens and focus ring don't rotate during AF
small and light
negative:Sharpnes wide open
comment:Compared to Sigma 24-135:
For minolta:
better build, faster AF, size, more ergonomic
For sigma:
Zoom range, sharpnes, less distiorsion.
It's great as walkaround lens and for indoor shots for film cameras (for digital, it's not wide enough). Well build (for it's price - little plastic but I've used it for 2 years and looks like new). AF is fast and acurate.
