positive:	Useful range,pretty sharp,mostly good colour, AF fine, light weight
negative:	Colour at wide end not so good.
comment:	Bought when I bought my first Minolta body as a general purpose lens for odd jobs. (I use telephotos for work). Its range made it especially useful at the start when my only other lens was the 100-300. Far superior in all respects to the similar range Pentax lens I used before, especially in sharpness and colour. I don't use the wide end much, but when I have I haven't thought that the lens performed as well down there, especially in terms of colour.(Sorry chaps, but I'm still on film, hence the colour references.)Not really a fast lens.
