| positive: | Very compact, feels pretty solid. Have found results quite satisfactory. |
| negative: | Not as sharp as my 28-135. Flare, CA evident in corners under bright lighting a wide apertures.Manual focus is not a good feel. |
| comment: | An excellent walkaround lens to replace my 28-135 which although a great lens, is heavy and a bit long in range for my 7D. Prefer the 28-135 on the a900. |
