comment: | I think this lense is underrated. The lense has a fast auto focus and it delivers excellent IQ. I have done approx. 1500 fotos in the past two month since i own an Alpha and this lense. I haven't noticed to much weakness. I have done tests on all lenses at 24mm / 50mm / 70mm, indoors with a test sheet. Focus and colot test. the IQ was truly excellent. I am able too make candle light shots, handheld with my Alpha 100 and Alpha 200, at ISO 400. I am unable to do it with the SAL-18250 The focus ring is some movement. I don't know if this is only mine or if it is every 24-105 (D). I use the fotos to make printout on 9x13, 10x15 and DIN A4 format, as well as watch them on screen. I am keeping the lense for now although i have the SAL-18250 which has a better range. |
