ownership:I own this lens
compared to:Sony CZ 16-80mm on A77
Sigma 24-135mm
price paid:€ 60,-
positive:Range, weight and 'Minolta' colors
negative:For just € 60,- ....? You must be kidding
comment:I'm so lucky I found you.... For an incredible price of only € 60,- my walk-around-lens on the A900. And even acceptable on APS-C for a lightweight citytrip with my 10-20mm. A little bit soft in the corners, but stopped down very useable. This lens is so much less heavy compared to the Sigma 24-135mm that the latter has to stay at home much often. The IQ on the A900 compared to the CZ 16-80mm on the A77 (both 24 MP and more or less same reach and interchangeable lenshood) is the same if not better for the colours. Had to clean the lens, glass and barrel, thoroughly when I got home. Maybe that's why I had to pay so little. A little gem.... so lucky I found you!
